Scholarships
Music
As a result of generous contributions from individual donors and private foundations, the Domaine Forget will offer scholarships for the 2008 sessions. Applicants requesting a scholarship must provide a clearly-identified audio CD (name, instrument, session, works and timing). It is indispensable that the recording, comprised of two contrasting works or movements with accompaniment, be of fairly good quality.

The Alain-Marion Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1999 in memory of an exceptional musician, pillar of the Domaine Forget and close collaborator for 20 years. A student is chosen by the teaching faculty at the end of the session and granted this merit of excellence consisting of $600.
The Vincent-Cichowicz Scholarship
In memory of the founder of the Trumpet session, this $600 scholarship of merit will be awarded to a trumpet player at the end of the session.
The Eugene-Rittich Scholarship
In memory of our close collaborator, this $600 scholarship of merit will be awarded to a horn player at the end of the session.
Chamber Music
Application must be accompanied by an audition tape. Audition tape (15 minutes; two contrasting works with accompaniment) must be sent before March 1st 2008. The result of the audition will be communicated to the candidates. Successful applicants will be awarded a scholarship.
