By bus from Montreal to La Malbaie via Quebec

Buy a ticket from Montreal to La Malbaie at the Berri bus terminal (metro Berri-UQAM).

Take the bus, on Sunday at 11:00 A.M., for Quebec City which will arrive around 2:00 P.M.,
Once in Quebec City (downtown terminal 418- 525-3000) take the 3:00 P.M. bus to La Malbaie, arrival in La Malbaie at 5:00 P.M.
At 5:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., on the first Sunday of each session, the Intercar bus arriving from Québec will take students to the Domaine Forget, directly on site.
On any other arrival day, simply take a taxi to St-Irénée. Taxi number : Taxi La Malbaie 418-665-2424.

N.B. Considering that bus schedules and prices are subject to change without notice, it is always preferable to check with the terminal or Domaine Forget beforehand.

By Car

Take highway 40-east from Montreal towards Quebec City.
As you near Quebec City, watch for highway exit Henri IV nord (north), once on Henri IV, follow signs for Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré, you will exit 40-east temporarily to head north but as you follow the signs for Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré you will be on the 40-east again.
The 40-east becomes the 138-east which goes past Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré to Baie St-Paul.
There, you turn off when you see the sign for the 362-east scenic route, (motel Chez George). Stay on this road to St-Irénée about 30 minutes from Baie St-Paul.
The Domaine Forget is on your left just past the wharf as you drive along the river. Drive past the wharf and take the next left, St-Antoine, follow signs for Studios du Domaine.

By Plane

The closest airport is the Jean Lesage International Airport in Quebec. If you can arrive by 2:00P.M., you will be able to take a cab, (± $8.00) to the Ste-Foy bus terminal in time for the 2:30P.M.bus to La Malbaie. Any later, take a cab to the downtown bus terminal (±$15.00). See bus fares and schedule above. At 5:00P.M., on the first Sunday of each session, a shuttle will be waiting to take students to the Domaine Forget (15 minute trip). If the shuttle is not there, simply call the Domaine Forget at 452-8111 to arrange transportation or take a cab to St-Irénée, home of the Domaine Forget.

On the last day of the session, you must vacate your room by 9:30 a.m.

The last day of the session, the Domaine Forget books a school bus to take students to Quebec City. At a cost of $35/person, you will be driven to either the bus and train station or airport. (A minimum of 14 people required to ensure the service). Departure from Domaine Forget is at 7h30 ( Brass, Woodwinds, Strings) ) and at 1h30 (Guitar, Dance). You may reserve immediately by fax at (418-452-3503) or by e-mail.
