String Session  -  (two week stay minimum)

This program is offered to intermediate, advanced level students and professionals. It includes private lessons, masterclasses, chamber music and orchestra excerpt classes.

 

1) REGULAR PROGRAM

  • For intermediate, advanced level students or professionnals;
  • Private lessons, masterclasses, chamber music and orchestra excerpt classes;
  • Masterclass and chamber music players will be selected based on an audition held the first day of the session. Audition repertoire is at the discretion of the students.

1) VIOLONISTS' SEMINAR  -  July 13 to 27

The Violonists' Seminar at Le Domaine Forget is a new and unique program designed to give advanced students an environment for comprehensive study. Team-taught by two violonist, the two-week course offers a balance of individual and group activities. Daily technique classes, supervised practice, private instruction, and seminars covering a wide range of topics are offered. Performance opportunities will be offered during week two.

Students should register specifically for this course, you need to submit clearly-identified audio CD or mp3 file (name, instrument, session, works and timing) of approximately 10 or 15 minutes comprised of two contrasting works with accompaniment.
