Artist in residence

Every Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 5pm until August 28, 2022, artist-in-residence Marilyne Busque-Dubois presents her poetic works inspired by the the relationship between intimacy, feminism and the environment. Come and meet her!

Inspired by renowned gardens such as Storm King Art Center and Pepsico in New York, the Domaine Forget de Charlevoix Harmonic Sculpture Garden is a unique destination. The institution wishes to enhance its breathtaking site by adding public artwork. Nearly half of the 100-acre estate displays more than 23 monumental sculptures by artsits from Quebec and beyond. 


ABOUT Marilyne Busque-Dubois

Bachelor graduate in Literature, Marilyne Busque-Dubois is the author of Carnet Brûlé (du monde qui crie), and Territoire non-organisé du lac Pikauba : une approche poétique, while also cofounder of the Centre de production en art actuel Les Ateliers – artists’ centre, in Baie-Saint-Paul, Charlevoix. Her poetry, installation and linocut work arises from concrete experiences like hiking, wild harvesting and sailing to explore the reciprocal relations between intimacy, feminism and environment, and has been seen at the Promenades urbaines of the Musée national des beaux-arts de Québec, Le Livart, along a few National Parks hiking trails, cultural centres and creative writing publications such as Zinc and L’Écrit Primal.
