This one-week program is geared towards experienced vocalists and chorists with a sight-reading level allowing independent preparation. The program proposes a unique intensive experience with daily choir rehearsals and varied themed workshops.

APPLying FOR ADMISSION

Complete all steps of the online application form, pay the registration fee (CAN $95), and provide the audition materiel by April 1, 2026.

AUDITION MATERIAL
An audition is required to demonstrate the timber and range of your voice. Recordings can be made with a cellphone or tablet. Do not hesitate to contact us if you need support with recording.  N.B.: The same recording(s) may be used for 2 consecutive years.

• Warm-up of approximately 30 seconds demonstrating the vocal range (ascending and descending scales in every key)
  
  
• Imposed work: submit 1 of 2 pieces of your choice
  - Felix Mendelssohn: Verleih Uns Frieden (PDF)
  - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Ave verum corpus (PDF)
  
  
• OPTIONAL: An aria or simple melody in the language of your choice
  
  
• Current biography and résumé (CV) describing your musical experience

Please upload three (3) separate videos for the three (3) individual works; public or unlisted YouTube, Vimeo or DropBox links or any other link directly accessible without a password and clearly labeled.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

• Arrival: Monday, August 10, 2026, between 2p.m. and 6p.m. (classes begin in the evening on Monday, August 10, 2026 at 7:30p.m.)
  
  
• Departure: Sunday, August 16, 2026, 9a.m.

All transportation is the student’s responsibility.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

First installment
To confirm and reserve your place a non-refundable first deposit, covering the tuition fees of your session is required within seven (7) days following your acceptance letter and invoice.

Second installment
The second payment is due no later than June 1, 2026.

CANCELLATION / REFUND

Le Domaine Forget de Charlevoix reserves the right to cancel any program if circumstances demand it. All fees already paid will then be reimbursed. Registration fees are non-refundable. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Cancellation policy:

1^st installment (50% of session fees) payable within 7 days of receipt of your invoice. N.B.: This first payment is used to confirm and reserve your place in the program and is non-refundable.

2^nd installment (remaining balance): 50% refund of the amount paid if cancellation at least 30 days before the start of the program.

No refund will be issued if one cancels their participation 30 days or less before the start of the program for any reason other than medical (doctor's note required).

No refund issued passed June 2, 2026.

THE PROGRAM ALSO INCLUDES

• Participation in Academy student concerts or "Domaine on the Road" series
  
  
• Free access to Domaine Forget International Festival concerts during the program (Restrictions may apply for certain concerts)
  
  
• Official attestation of participation to the program
  
  
• Access to all Academy classes and activities during the program
  
  
• Student activities such as bonfire, sports activities, tourist outings, movies, yoga etc.
  
  
• Individual practice huts and spaces situated on the enchanting site in the middle of nature
  
  
• Three meals a day in the Joseph-Rouleau pavilion
  
  
• Double or quadruple occupancy lodging
