Halfway between a training program and an artistic residency, the digital music program proposes to advanced composers (end of Bachelor’s, Masters, Doctorate or equivalent) and immersive experience in digital and video music.

Under the supervision of Myriam Boucher’s personalised pedagogical approach, this two-week program is focused on video music creation, sound exploration and pushing personal creative growth.

APPLying FOR ADMISSION

Complete all steps of the online application form, pay the registration fee (CAN $90), and provide the audition materiel by February 7, 2024.

AUDITION MATERIAL

• 2 musical or audiovisual works* of your choice, of contrasting character, with a total duration of 15 to 20 minutes (audio or video). Recordings should be recent (less than 12 months).
  
  
• Recent profile picture and biography including the list of your works.
  
  
• Letter of presentation explaining your artistic approach and your interest in participating in the sessions at Domaine Forget.

*For both (2) works, please provide two (2) separate video links, public or unlisted YouTube, Vimeo or DropBox links or any other link directly accessible without a password and clearly labeled.

arrival and departure

• Arrival: Sunday, June 2, 2024, between 2PM and 6PM (classes begin on Monday, June 3, 2024)

PAYMENT INFORMATION

First installment
To confirm and reserve your place a non-refundable first deposit, covering the tuition fees of your session is required within seven (7) days following your acceptance letter and invoice.

Second installment
The second payment is due no later than May 1, 2024.

CANCELLATION / REFUND

Le Domaine Forget de Charlevoix reserves the right to cancel any program if circumstances demand it. All fees already paid will then be reimbursed. Registration fees are non-refundable. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Cancellation policy:

1^st installment (50% of session fees) payable within 7 days of receipt of your invoice. N.B.: This first payment is used to confirm and reserve your place in the program and is non-refundable.

2^nd installment (remaining balance): 50% refund of the amount paid if cancellation at least 30 days before the start of the program.

No refund will be issued if one cancels their participation 30 days or less before the start of the program for any reason other than medical (doctor's note required).

THE PROGRAM ALSO INCLUDES

• Participation in Academy student concerts or "Domaine on the Road" series in chamber music or as a soloist
  
  
• Video Recording of the student concerts in the concert hall
  
  
• Free access to Domaine Forget International Festival concerts during the program. (Restrictions may apply for certain concerts).
  
  
• Official attestation of participation to the program
  
  
• Access to all Academy classes and activities during the program
  
  
• Student activities such as bonfire, sports activities, tourist outings, movies, yoga etc.
  
  
• Individual practice huts and spaces situated on the enchanting site in the middle of nature
  
  
• Three meals a day in the Joseph-Rouleau pavilion
  
  
• Double or quadruple occupancy lodging (towels and bedding available on request for $35 per stay)
