HARPSICHORD

This intensive two-week program is geared towards advanced level harpsichordists and pianists (minimum age of 18).

It offers keyboard players the opportunity to improve their harpsichord skills and for pianists to learn the basics of historically inspired interpretation and the practice of the basso continuo with hands-on experience at the harpsichord. The participants will also be collaborating with the voice program to work on French vocal repertoire under the supervision of Benoit Dratwicki. In addition, a public concert will be held near the end of the program showcasing the participants and their work during the program. Finally, one or more selected musicians will also have the opportunity to join the chamber orchestra and participate in the concert on Sunday, August 16, under the direction of Louis-Noël Bestion de Camboulas.
