CLARINET

Join us this summer to elevate your playing with world renowned artists. This two-week program proposes to advanced level clarinetists (aged 16 and over) a focus on solo practice and chamber music.

APPLYING FOR ADMISSION

Complete all steps of the online application form, pay the registration fee (CAN $95), and provide the audition materiel by February 5, 2026.

AUDITION MATERIAL

  • One (1) imposed work: Exposition of the 1st mvt of the Concerto k. 622 by W. A. Mozart

  • One (1) movement from the following list of works, with piano accompaniment:

         - J. Brahms, Sonata No. 1, op. 120
         - J. Brahms, Sonata No. 2, op. 120 No. 2
         - C. M. von Weber, Concerto No. 1, op. 73
         - C. M. von Weber, Concerto No. 2, op 74
          - I. Stravinsky, 3 pieces (mvt. 2 or 3)
         - B. Kovács, Hommage a J.S. Bach (complete)

  • Current biography, résumé (CV) and profile picture

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

  • Arrival: Sunday, June 14, 2026, between 2p.m. and 6p.m. (classes begin on Monday, June 15, 2026)

  • Departure: Saturday, June 27, 2026, 9a.m.

All transportation is the student’s responsibility.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

First installment
To confirm and reserve your place a non-refundable first deposit, covering the tuition fees of your session is required within seven (7) days following your acceptance letter and invoice.

Second installment
The second payment is due no later than May 1, 2026.


CANCELLATION / REFUND

Le Domaine Forget de Charlevoix reserves the right to cancel any program if circumstances demand it. All fees already paid will then be reimbursed. Registration fees are non-refundable. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Cancellation policy:

1st installment (50% of session fees) payable within 7 days of receipt of your invoice. N.B.: This first payment is used to confirm and reserve your place in the program and is non-refundable.

2nd installment (remaining balance): 50% refund of the amount paid if cancellation at least 30 days before the start of the program.

No refund will be issued if one cancels their participation 30 days or less before the start of the program for any reason other than medical (doctor's note required).

THE PROGRAM ALSO INCLUDES

  • Participation in Academy student concerts or "Domaine on the Road" series

  • Video Recording of the student concerts in the concert hall

  • Free access to Domaine Forget International Festival concerts during the program (Restrictions may apply for certain concerts)

  • Official attestation of participation to the program

  • Access to all Academy classes and activities during the program

  • Student activities such as bonfire, sports activities, tourist outings, movies, yoga etc.

  • Individual practice huts and spaces situated on the enchanting site in the middle of nature

  • Three meals a day in the Joseph-Rouleau pavilion

  • Double or quadruple occupancy lodging 

 

Paypal

Domaine Forget uses Paypal for secure payments. Email confirmation (in addition to the automated PayPal notification email) will be sent as soon as possible, once payment has been confirmed. Payment confirmation may take a few days. Remember: You must enter the amount you wish to pay and the full name of the registering student.
